Chiropractic

Chiropractors are specialists in manual adjustment of the vertebrae/bones of the spine and other joints. Chiropractors treat neuro-musculoskeletal injuries via hands-on manual therapy, gentle adjustments and with a variety of other instruments.

Joeriss “Joe” is a graduate from the Vancouver Career College RMT program in 2022, he was a full time RMT student and full time healthcare worker when he was studying. Joe now is studying in KPU and under International Educated Nurses program to become a Canadian Registered Nurse.

Currently, Joe is working as a Patient Care Aide in Oncology Unit in BC Children Hospital, helping the families, nurses and doctors to take care of sicks kids, and through his experience, Joe understood the value of patient centred care and continues to apply that in each of his sessions as a massage practitioner.

Joe recognize that there no two people are alike, therefore, treatment is personalized for your unique needs. It is important for him to identify the culprit of the problem to aim to restore general function and provide relief. Joe used variety of technique, including deep tissue, Swedish massage, hydrotherapy, joint mobilizations, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release.

He uses various therapeutic techniques to address concerns from general tightness and relaxation to injuries, rehabilitation and prevention. His approach to treatment includes a custom plan tailored to each individual, using various manual techniques coupled with resistance and stretching techniques to bring balance to one’s body and empower his patients to take control of their pursuit of a healthy lifestyle to reach their physical goals.

Fawz has always appreciated maintaining a mind-body connection through a natural holistic approach to facilitate the body. Having practiced Martial Arts throughout his life, he learned how to heal and prevent injuries through massage and movement. Ali received her Masters of Clinical Counselling from Adler University and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC; Member #21746). As a counsellor she collaborates with every client to understand the power of their story and for her clients to feel heard and honoured. She views counselling as a place for individuals to explore talk therapy alongside expressive arts to create space for understanding parts of themselves that at times can be hard to put words to.    Her work and volunteer experiences include peer support for those in recovery from eating disorders at The Looking Glass Foundation and individual counselling at Jewish Family Services. Alongside this, she has facilitated therapeutic creative writing workshops through Pandora’s Collective at the Jewish Community Centre and Pacifica Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre on grief and loss, finding community, change, and anxiety. This work has informed a holistic approach to her areas of practice in anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, shame and guilt, burnout, grief and loss, loneliness, and processing life changes and transitions. Aleksandra, also known as Ola, was born and raised in Poland. She went to school at the Medical University of Poznan. As a highly experienced Physiotherapist, Ola can help to relieve your pain, regain mobility and strength after an injury or accident. She uses a combination of hands-on body work, many modalities such as Shockwave therapy to improve healing, recovery and physical maintenance.

Other than being a wonderful physiotherapist, Ola also enjoys spending time in the outdoors skiing and mountain biking on Vancouver’s North Shore Mountains. She is fluent in both Polish and English.

Dr. Fez’s chiropractic philosophy has roots in the principle of no pain, MORE gain. His treatments consider how the whole body is connected, and that the body compensates for imbalances. Doug graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy (3000 hour program) in 2011. His passion for massage therapy evolved from a personal experience of being injured while competing as an elite athlete. Doug has competed for the past 20 years and the most recently at the 2012 London Paralympic Games.

Katia is a Registered and Board-Certified Acupuncturist in Vancouver. She graduated from Pacific Coast University – College of Holistic Medicine with a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. As a practitioner, she is known for her kind-hearted nature, holistic approach to diagnosis and particularly for her truly individualized care.
